BAH Sponsorship Agreement
Join us for Lunch & Learn!
Lunch & Learn is a luncheon series providing "ready to use" techniques to make your business stronger. These interactive sessions provide valuable information that can be used by you and your business immediately. Topics have included Customer Service, Budgeting, Hiring & Firing Practices, Marketing Business Manners Worker’s Compensation, and more.
Cost is $15.00 for Chamber Members and $20 for non-members. Chamber Members have an opportunity to sponsor a Lunch & Learn for $250.
General Membership Luncheon
The luncheon is designed to offer members an opportunity for increased networking, another avenue to promote their businesses, learn more about the Chamber, meet new members, and be motivated to take a more active role in the community. Chamber members are encouraged to attend and non-members are welcome, too. Members will pay $15 and non-members $20 per person. Tables of eight can be reserved and sponsorships are available.

Ribbon Cutting, Grand Opening, Groundbreaking and Open House ceremonies are a fantastic way to introduce or re-acquaint your business to the community and attract new customers. Conducts quarterly programs to provide practical tips and suggestions to help business owners and their staffs.
Existing Industry Program/Retention & Expansion Committee
Coordinates with the Economic Development Authority to enhance communications with and between existing industries to learn more about their successes, problems and concerns.
Buy Local Committee
To help sustain Wayne County businesses and stimulate sales tax revenues by encouraging the community to “Buy Local.”
Highlights agriculture and its economic impact on our community.
Networking/Business After Hours
Coordinates and promotes Business After Hours networking events for members.
Launch Wayne (FKA Young Professional)
The program aims to energize, engage, and empower future leaders between the ages of 21 and 45 and actively shape the future of our community.
- COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
Community-Wide Vision Committee
Promotes a common vision for the community with an annual “Civic Conversation", use of community branding/marketing, and continuing to explore ways to enhance the quality of life.
Works closely with the Wayne County School System to build awareness about the importance of quality public education to the community and to involve member businesses in support of education initiatives.

Legislative Action Agenda Committee
Prepares a legislative action agenda that represents the interests of the business community and Wayne County.
Governmental Affairs Events Committee/Election Forums/Debates Subcommittee
Plans and coordinates a forum for candidates to report and debate local, state and national issues.
Government Affairs Events Committee/Day for Wayne Subcommittee
Normally held on the first Thursday in November for invited guests to learn more about Wayne County.
Government Affairs Events Committee/Eggs & Issues Subcommittee
Plans and coordinates an annual event for Wayne County’s legislative delegation to report on issues during the General Assembly.
Government Affairs Events Committee/Okefenokee Occasion Subcommittee
Coordinates Wayne County’s participation in this multi-county legislative event held in Atlanta during the Georgia General Assembly.
Government Affairs Events Committee/Post Legislative Luncheon
Coordinates a post-legislative luncheon after the General Assembly for Wayne County’s state legislative delegation to report on progress/issues during the General Assembly.
Government Affairs Events Committee/GA Chamber of Commerce/GACCE Event Committee
Coordinates Wayne County’s participation in the GA Chamber’s and GACCE’s legislative events.
- MEMBERSHIP SERVICES
Recruitment & Retention Committee –
Coordinates and implements programs that will ensure member recruitment.
Retention Committee –
Coordinates and implements programs led by Ambassadors and Staff that will enhance member retention.
General Membership Luncheon –
Organizes quarterly general membership luncheons, including determining content/speakers and promoting participation by members and non-members.
Ambassadors – Candee Harris, Wayne County Industrial Development Authority
Maintains a minimum of 10 ambassadors to make personal visits to Chamber members to encourage participation and to reach out to prospective members.
Chairman’s Club Committee –
Highlights current members, provides additional member benefits where applicable, increases the positive experience of current members, and helps recruit new members.
Christmas Parade Committee – Jamie Hickox, Jamie Hickox Real Estate and Rental
Coordinates the annual Christmas Parade to promote pride in the community and draw shoppers into downtown.
Taste of Wayne Gala – Mary Katelyn Williams, Vidalia Brands
Plans and conducts the Taste of Wayne Gala.
Legacy Dinner – Jim Poindexter, Jesup VFW
Plans and organizes the Annual Legacy Dinner which recognizes Chamber leadership from the past and the present.
Rhythm on the River – Justin Franks, Satilla REMC
Plans and implements the production of a community concert on the river to highlight Wayne County’s greatest natural resource, the Altamaha River.
Member Appreciation Day - Shaun O'Quinn, Country Financial
Plans and coordinates the annual lunch to show our entire membership our appreciation of their support.
